Mew Mew is a cat cafe. Being one of the few cat cafes in New Jersey, it hopes to spread the goodness of cat companions and that every cat deserves a second chance and a forever home.
A place where people can interact with rescue cats while enjoying a cup of coffee and sweet desserts.
Our mission goes beyond serving coffee and sweets. To find homes for cats adopted by our customers.
We aim to inspire moments of delight and togetherness. Our rescue cats, each with their own unique personalities, are at the heart of everything we do.
We provide a home for them, and in return, they offer companionship to our visitors.
I wanted Mew Mew to have a playful logo and face to the brand. I created a cat mascot holding a cup of coffee to represent it’s essence of being not just a cafe but a cat cafe. I went through different versions of how I wanted to visualize this cute and welcoming character and that included how I wanted to include a coffee cup, a cat, and the name.
For the color palette I knew I wanted to use green to visualize the cafes brand of being down to earth and peaceful environment. Adding a half tone dot pattern onto the mascot gives a cartoony touch.
